Hagar’s Fountain of Hope, Inc. was established in 2008 with the goal of serving women. Our mission is to Empower, Educate, Encourage, and Edify single mothers and women by teaching them how to incorporate Christian principles into their daily lives. We also strive to be a resource to meet not only their spiritual needs but their physical and emotional needs as well. We work to achieve this goal by proving basic needs. One of the ways we help single mothers is by providing for their children.

Our biblical foundation is based on the story of Hagar and Ishmael in Genesis 21:8-20. Hagar was the first single mother in the bible and found herself unsure of the fate of her son. God heard the cries of the boy and his mother and commanded her to lift him up and not be afraid because He would take care of the boy. No matter how the women became single mothers, we provide as much support as possible to help them to raise their children. We do not just deal with the issues of having children, but also of being a woman and that is why we welcome all women into our group. We deal with the everyday pressure of being a woman and our goal is to give them the tools necessary to grow in this area.

Nakilah is the mother of three and the grandmother of 1. She understands the trials and difficulties that women face today. Her love for Christ and her relationship with Him has given her the strength to move forward in life even through her toughest trials. With a strong faith and a great sense of humor, Nakilah has overcome heartbreak, disappointment, and grief. Nakilah’s mission and life purpose is to empower, encourage, educate, and edify her sisters in Christ.
She accomplishes this through her books, speaking engagements, radio show, and YouTube videos. Nakilah prides herself on keeping it real with her sisters by addressing our real life issues and giving real solutions. Her messages are real, relevant, funny, and the lessons are easy to apply.
